Theme

The theme of the story is rebellion. What that means is that there are a lot of disagreeing going on. There are couple of wars here and there, and it's mainly between animals and humans.
The first "battle" is the actual rebellion. The animals were sick and tired of their owner, Jones, treating them so poorly. They were worked to hard, they were underfed, and sometimes, they weren't even fed at all. So the anger was building up, and came out in a rebllion.
Another one of the wars is The Battle of the Cowshed. This one is when farmers came and attacked all of the animals on Animal Farm (former Manor Farm). The farmers (Jones, Pilkington, Whymper, Frederick and all of their men) came and attacked because Jones wanted his land back.
Another battle was The Battle of the Windmill. Snowball had already left by then, so Napoleonwas in charge and didn't have a plan to defeat the humans. Anyways, certain farmers,Frederick and Pilkington, had agreed to nagociate with Nampoleon, so they could see when it was done built. When it was finshed, they, and the other farmers, blew it up with their anger towards the animals.

Other Disagreemants

One disareement was Snowball and Napoleon never agreeing with each other. Every time the farm had a meeting, they would always be the ones to count on in a debate. But they always somehow compramised.
Another disagreement is Napoleon and the windmill. When Snowball was still on the farm and mainly in chrage, he wanted to build a windmill. Naturally, Napoleon disagreed. I know, Napoleon built the windmill, but that was when Snowball was gone.
Here is a ajor disagreemant: animals and humans. They would never agree to anything, so you think. Napoleon made negociation plans with some of the farmers, but the humans were never really in alliance. Also, the animals never ever liked the humans, and tried to overthrow the human race (good luck).... But oddly enough, at the end, Napoleon became friends with all the farmers (humans) in the book.
