Plot

The plot of the story is simple. It is on a farm in England, and it is all through a few years (maybe 3 or 4). The story itself represents the Russian Revolution. There are many characters in the story, but we'll get to that later. Anyways, the animals in the story rebell against the people who own them, because they don't like the way they've been treated. After about a week or two, the rebellion actually happens. After that, the pigs are appearently supposed to be the smartest and the wisest of all the animals, so all the other animals pointed to them for being in charge of them. Two of the pigs are mainly in charge, Snowball, and Napoleon.  Napoleon takes over after a while, and the animals build a windmill under his command. Then it gets destroyed twice, but then they rebuild it (again), and then boxer got hurt and was taken away by a glue boiler. After that, the pigs started walking on two legs. Then, the rest of the farmers in the book came and toured the farm, and made an alliance with all of the pigs.
